Blogging is new to me. I've only done maybe a half dozen blogs at various sites. Having my own blog is definitely brand new to me. Even using an already prepared "point and click" template is a little bit unsettling.
I don't know if I'll stay with this format or end up with something else, but for now I'm using this selection. For one reason, the color scheme goes with my website color scheme. :)
Thanks, Debora. Working with blogspot was much easier than I thought it would be in setting up my own blog. Of course, now I have to figure out what to do with it. :)
Looks good to me Samantha, good luck and I wish you lots of comments. Topics will come to you, blogging is the same on your site as the others you have blogged on. It's just a new venue and a successful one I hope! Have fun at it. That seems to help.
Hi Samantha! Thanks for the directions to your blog! Yeah! Now I can bother you here, I mean chat, Smile. Will you be adding the email part as an option for people to sign up on so they (I) can get a email when you have a new post? I love using it on others blogs and learning how to put one on mine. I am so a slow learner and not techy! Cathie (Caffey)Wil
Cathie: It's good to hear from you. Wow ... you've hit me with something new that I'll have to look into -- the email option. This entire blog thing is all still new to me. In the interim, until I figure out the email thing you mentioned, I'm planning to add a new post each week, most likely on Sunday morning.
Great start, Samantha! I find blogging on a regular bases become habit after a while. And with all I have to do, I still manage to come up with something a couple of times a week.
Welcome to the wonderful world of blogging. I think a regular weekly post is a great start - you can always add one in between if you want to and when you're ready for it, maybe try inviting a or two, it's a great way of incrasing your readership and adding variety.
Hi, Emma: I'm going to try to get some of the graphics from my website over here so my blog and website headings at the top of the home page will match. Hopefully that will work out.
Hi, Lyn. After I get the hang of this, I want to incorporate an occasional blogger and also an interview every now and then. As you said, something that will add some variety beyond just what I have to say. :)
Oh dear I must have been half asleep when I wrote my last comment! I meant you could maybe invite a guest or two! Anyway, you obviously sussed what I meant. Guest bloggers can take the pressure off wondering what new idea to come up with, too.
I'm with you on this one Samantha. I keep meaning to start one of these things and I can't seem to get my toushy in gear. I think you did a great now though!

Thanks, Linda. This is an interesting new venture for me.
Welcome to the blogosphere!
Thanks, Debora. Working with blogspot was much easier than I thought it would be in setting up my own blog. Of course, now I have to figure out what to do with it. :)
Congratulations, Samantha! You'll be aces at blogging and attract all kinds of new readers.
Looks very nice, Samantha. Best of luck. I love all your covers on the side. I'm guessing you'll do just great at this :)

Thanks, Mary. I'm sure it will work fine, I just need to get used to coming up with a topic every week and make it sound interesting. :)

Good luck! Don't let blogging consume your life... We must endeavor to write! ;)

Thanks for stoppinig by.
Skhye: You're so right about making sure I still have time to write!
All the self-promotion that ebooks require sure cuts into the time for everything else -- reading, writing ... sleeping. :)
Great start, Samantha! I find blogging on a regular bases become habit after a while. And with all I have to do, I still manage to come up with something a couple of times a week.
Good luck with it!
Thanks, Susan. Hopfully coming up with something once a week will be easy. :)
I love the colors, Samantha...blues and greens are my favorite, but you might want to consider something with red since your stories are so HOT!

Good luck, Samantha. I hope your blogging experience is wonderful!! Congrats.
Thanks, Patsy. From what I've observed, blogspot seems to be a very popular host of blogs. It's user friendly, which is a blessing. :)
Debra: Thanks. So far my blogging experience has been fun. But, I need to keep reminding myself that it's only been 4 days. :)
Congratulations, Samantha, and welcome to the blogging world. I haven't been blogging for that long either.
Enjoy!
Lynne: Thanks. I feel as if I've taken some kind of major step off into limbo. I have to keep reminding myself that it's only a blog! :)
Oh dear I must have been half asleep when I wrote my last comment! I meant you could maybe invite a guest or two! Anyway, you obviously sussed what I meant. Guest bloggers can take the pressure off wondering what new idea to come up with, too.
